We remind you that on July 1st, the deadline for submitting the necessary declarations for the 2021 Annual Census of Foreign Investments of the Central Bank for the base year of 2021 began. The deadline for submitting the declaration is 6:00 pm on August 15, 2022.
The statement is applicable to Legal Entities headquartered in the country, with direct participation of non-residents in its share capital, in any amount, with shareholders’ equity equal to or greater than US$ 100 million, on the base date of December 31, 2021; investment funds with non-resident shareholders and with shareholders’ equity equal to or greater than US$100 million, on the base date of December 31, 2021 on the base date of December 31, 2021, through their administrators; Legal entities headquartered in the country, with a total outstanding balance of short-term trade credits (payable within 360 days) granted by non-residents, in an amount equal to or greater than the equivalent of US$10 million, on the base date of December 31, 2021 . The declaration must be made on the census page, within the electronic system of the Central Bank of Brazil (Sisbacen). If you have any questions, our office is available to help.
